Unicorn Capital Partners Invests in Façades

Unicorn Capital Partners — infra-industrial buyout fund targeting undervalued SMEs participating in infrastructure development, announces acquisition of a controlling interest (50 per cent + 1 share) in Constanta Group («Constanta», «Group»).

Constanta Group is one of the largest vertically-integrated façade companies in Russia and the CIS and the leader in industrial glass processing. Constanta was formed in 2011 through a merger of three Russian manufacturers. The oldest one has been operating since 1994.

The main activity of the Group is design, manufacture and installation of translucent façade systems and glass processing for construction applications. Three modern manufacturing facilities with capabilities for aluminum processing, double-glazed units, tempered glass and triplex safety glass production located in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don have been consolidated under Constanta Group umbrella. Russian, Kazakhstan, the Baltic States and European companies are the Group’s key- customers.

Constanta enterprises ranked among the top three largest façade manufactories in the regions of their operations. 2012 consolidated Group turnover was 1.4 billion rubles.
