Kolos confectionery factory was founded in Chelyabinsk in 2007. As of today, its capacity is 900 tons per month, and its product range includes more than 50 items – sweet biscuits, muffins, puff pastry, custard cakes and marshmallows, all produced under the Ruslada trademark. Kolos is one of the few factories that combines the production of such a wide range of confectionery products.

Established in 1995 as "A1," Akulchev initially produced and sold general bakery products. In 1998 the company switched its focus to confectionery production. As of today, the company is the leading firm in the soft waffle market in Russia with distribution to all regions of Russia and neighboring countries. The company's production facilities are in Tatarstan. The brand relies on natural ingredients, modern technologies and a recognizable recipe. The sole owner of the company is Sergey Akulchev.
