Unicorn Capital Advisers served as financial adviser in the sale of controlling stake of one of the largest retailers in the Russian Far East - Remy Group to Lenta Group. Remy Group unites supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores and discounters under the Remy, RemiCity and Economych brands. The perimeter of the deal includes 115 retail outlets, including 87 stores in the Primorsky Territory, 24 stores in the Khabarovsk Territory and 4 stores in the Sakhalin Region, as well as the logistics infrastructure that supplies the network.
Remy Group is one of the leaders in grocery retail in the Far East. The chain includes stores of three retail brands and five formats: four full-cycle stores of its own production, RemiCity, 11 hypermarkets, 27 supermarkets and 29 “near-home” stores under the Remi brand, as well as 44 discount stores under the Ekonomich brand. By the end of 2024, the network's total revenue amounted to about 53 billion rubles.
Lenta (MOEX: LENT) is a multi-format grocery and FMCG retailer in Russia. The company develops the formats of hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores. The company develops online sales. The company was founded in 1993 in St. Petersburg. As of June 30, 2025, Lenta manages 268 hypermarkets, 353 supermarkets, 3,400 “near-home” stores and 1,798 drogeri stores with a total retail area of about 2.8 million square meters. m in more than 650 localities in Russia. The company has 25 distribution centers throughout Russia. In 2024, Lenta's revenue amounted to 888 billion rubles.
